Starting 2027, under the European Union’s Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR), Digital Product Passports will become mandatory across major product categories. The regulation is driving the adoption of standardized, machine-readable product passports to improve transparency, sustainability, traceability, and circular economy practices throughout the product lifecycle.
To support this transition, we have created the First Free and Open-Source Platform, designed to help businesses easily comply with ESPR requirements. Using AI, the platform simplifies complex product data and automatically generates machine-readable Digital Product Passports complete with QR codes.
To give businesses maximum flexibility, the platform can be self-hosted on your own servers or used through our fully managed hosted version. Most importantly, it is 100% open source, ensuring transparency, control, and long-term reliability.
